  60. "Animated Beginning Typing" for Windows and Win 95
  61.  
  62. is designed for young typists, and teaches proper typing technique
  63. for the letter keys.  Sound effects and animation are used to make
  64. learning to type fun (and funny).  Help is given with an animated
  65. tutorial, a screen to show proper fingering, and an on-screen keyboard
  66. which highlights the correct key when needed.

  68. There are three games in the program.  "Jumping Letters" is designed
  69. for very young students, and can be played at any pace.  Each correctly
  70. typed letter is rewarded with the letter being removed by an animated
  71. "critter" chosen by the pupil.  When 10 letters are completed (context-
  72. sensitive help insures success), the child gets a silly cartoon.

  74. "Letter Drill" allows students to choose between 20 and 120 letters
  75. to practice.  A report is generated at the end of the practice showing
  76. words per minute, errors, and time.  The last letter in the sequence
  77. is removed in a silly way by a "critter", then the pupil is rewarded
  78. with a cartoon.

  80. "Flying Letters" is an arcade style game for advanced typists.  The
  81. speed of the game is determined by the player (and can be changed at
  82. any time during the game).  A report is generated at the end of the game,
  83. and a funny animation is displayed.

  85. All three games allow the student to choose a group of letters (such as
  86. left hand home keys), or to practice all 26 letters.  The animation in
  87. the program is achieved using stop-motion animation, as well as other
  88. techniques.

  128.    "A", or click on Browse to find the SETUP.EXE on your hard drive)
